HEC Chinese Government Scholarships [Announced]
The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) has announced government scholarships for students in Pakistan. Those students who wish to study in China at undergraduate, master’s, or PhD level can get admission via these fully-funded scholarships. You only have to handle minor details like the visa and your ticket. The last date to apply is 28 December 2023.

More than 250 universities across China offer scholarships through this program. It is a golden chance for you to get international exposure and study in some of the top-notch global universities in China.
Learn the language first.
Keep in mind that the students will have to learn the Chinese language before they start their formal studies. This language course is also included in this scholarship program.

Eligibility criteria
You have to fulfill these criteria if you wish to apply for these scholarships.

Stipend
Following is the stipend that each student will receive per month. Other than this, the students get will get accommodation as well.

There are two types of documents that you have to get.

Optional documents
Remember that these documents are only required once you have secured a scholarship. HEC will let you know via email. Also, you must submit two sets of the following attested documents in spiral binding. Visit a photocopy or stationery shop to get this sort of binding.
- Photocopies of father’s or Guardian’s CNIC
- Photocopies of the candidate’s domicile.
- Copy of online form submitted to HEC.
- HEC and IBCC shall attest to your degrees and educational certificates.
- Chinese online form.
- Get an admission letter from a Chinese university if you have any.
- Attach language certificates if you have any.
- Photocopies of passport
- Recommendation letters in case of postgraduate degrees.
- Photocopies of SOP.
- Fitness certificate from the Chinese Quarantine Authority.
- Police clearance
- NOC from an employer if you are doing a job.

- If you are applying for a professional degree, ensure that your concerned Pakistan council approves the university you attend in China.
