Join Pak Army As Technical Cadet Course 2023

It is your chance to become a regular commissioned officer in Pakistan Army through Technical Cadet course 35. Anyone eligible per the criteria can join the Pakistan army through this post. The last date to apply is 10 February 2023. Schedule for technical cadet course

The Army has to filter out many candidates before selecting the cream of the crop for this technical cadet course. So, applicants have to go through a lot of testing and procedures. For the schedule of these tests, consider the following table.

Course requirements

There are some more requirements that you have to fulfill if you want to enroll yourself in this course. If you do not fulfill this criterion, then do not apply. So read this carefully.

Marital Status Unmarried
Physical Standards Height  Weight
162.5cm As per BMI
Nationality Pakistan/Domicile or AJK/GB. Surrender other nationalities in case of dual nationality.
Bond Sign a bond to serve in the army for a minimum of 7 Years

Eligibility criteria

As far as education is concerned, you must fulfill the following criteria. Make sure you have the required education to enroll in this cadet course.

  • Applicant must have passed his Matric or O levels in science subjects with a minimum of 60% Marks.
  • Intermediate Pre-engineering or A levels (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) with a minimum of 65% and Grades I-6, respectively.
  • If you are waiting for the result, you can submit your Hope certificate.
  • If you have done ICS, you can only enroll in Software engineering or Computer Engineering.

What makes you ineligible?

Following are the ineligibility criteria.

  • Twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ or NHQ, or AHQ.
  • Once rejected by ISSB and once by GHQ, NHQ, or AHQ.
  • A convicted criminal
  • Provided fake information
  • Declared Unfit
  • Withdrawn from any Army college due to lack of discipline
  • Diploma holders are also not eligible.
  • If the applicant took ISSB and then applied again within 4 months.

Registration process

You can either register at ASRC or via the official website. If you want to apply from ASRC, bring all your documents and register on the spot. But if you register via the official website, you must follow these simple steps.

  • Register on the official website
  • Enter all the credentials
  • Register through a working email
  • You will get all the details on your email account.
  • Pay the fee in ASRC on the spot.

Now that you have registered and arrived at ASRC, you will have to undergo some preliminary tests.

Preliminary Testing
IQ test It will be MCQ based. Selected candidates will appear in academic tests
Academic tests MCQs will be asked from English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer.
Physical tests Run Push-ups Sit-ups Chin-ups Ditch Crossing
1.6 km in 8 minutes 15 reps in 2 minutes 20 reps in 2 minutes 3 reps in 2 minutes 7.4 x 7.4 and 4′ deep
Medical test Candidates who pass physical tests shall go through some initial medical tests

Documents required

You need the following document at the testing center

  • Original educational certificates
  • Attested copy of domicile
  • CNIC. If the candidate is 17, bring Form B and the CNIC of a guardian.
  • Front and back attested photocopies of all the documents
  • 3 photos attested by the principal

Academic and military training

Candidates will have to complete 4-year degree programs from approved institutions in NUST. After completing such degree programs, cadets must complete a year of military training at PMA Kakul. Following are the approved degree programs and institutions

Selection process

This is the selection process that the applicant will go through.

  • Selected candidates will take ISSB.
  • A medical exam of ISSB referred candidates in CMH
  • Final selection by GHQ
