The Punjab Government waives University Fees for flood Affected Students
The Punjab government has announced that it will waive university fees for students from flood-affected areas due to the recent flooding in the province. As soon as possible, Punjab Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman has instructed the Vice Chancellors (VCs) to waive off two semesters of tuition fees for flood-affected students.
During this difficult time, the Governor of the province assured flood-affected students that the province will stand with them. As a result of the unprecedented monsoon rainfall this year, floods have affected most parts of the country, particularly in South Punjab, upper KP, Sindh, and Balochistan.
