Eligibility Criteria For Male and Female
Qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree in the relevant subject (at least 2nd division)
Note: At the time of the interview, a candidate who claims that his/her qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification will be required to submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
Candidates who fail to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of the interview will have their candidatures withdrawn. Candidates are advised to choose their venue/center carefully. The Commission will not accept any request to change the center and venue at any time.
Age Limit and Domicile
Candidates must have their domicile in Punjab in order to apply for these positions.
For Males:
Male and male transgender candidates are allowed to apply if they are 21 to 28 years old plus seven years of general age relaxation.
For Females:
A candidate must be between 21 and 28 years of age plus a general age relaxation of 10 years for female candidates and female transgender candidates = 38 years of age.
Syllabus
There will be a written test consisting of multiple choice questions of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration. The syllabus is as under:
- Qualification-related questions (80%)
- Questions related to General Ability, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies. (20%)

Application Procedure For Applying
To apply for lecturer jobs with PPSC, you must submit an online application and pay a challan for RS 600 to any of the banks listed on the challan form, such as MCB, HBL, ABL, etc.
The PPSC has also introduced an online fee collection procedure which is applicable from 01 August 2023. It is recommended that applicants deposit fees online by using the following methods:
- ATMs
- Mobile Phone Banking
- Internet Banking
- Over the counter (by visiting the nearest 1Link Member Banks Branches)
It is now possible for applicants to deposit fees using Jazz Cash, Easy Paisa, U Paisa, and other available microfinance banks.
The following are not accepted:
- Fee deposited on old Challan Form (32-A) of PPSC
- Bank Draft
- Pay Order
- Cheque
