This test is conducted in different universities in Pakistan every year. It was started in 1998 on the initiative of chief minister Punjab <strong>Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif<\/strong> to counter cheating in the examinations at that time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the ECAT test<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This test purpose is used for engineering tests and is conducted by engineering and technology in Lahore, Punjab. So <strong>documents<\/strong> that are required for Ecat registration such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CNIC card<\/li>\n<li>Domicil<\/li>\n<li>Certificate\/Degree with the equivalent of this test<\/li>\n<li>Detailed mark sheet<\/li>\n<li>Photographs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>ECAT test for foreigners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If foreigners want to appear for this test then some <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">documents are attached<\/span> to ECAT tests such as a photocopy of the resident visa of the parent\/ guardian and an employment certificate that is issued by the Pakistani embassy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syllabus of ECAT test 2023<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>This test <strong>depends<\/strong> on physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English. This test consists of a multiple-choice question and each question has<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> 4 marks<\/span> while there is <strong>Negative marketing of -1<\/strong>.ECAT is the best testing tool for engineering students in Pakistan. All the candidates who are planning to get admission in engineering colleges and universities are required to pass this test.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecat Eligibility criteria<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The eligibility criteria of the candidates that have passed inter exams from a recognized examination board in Pakistan or equivalent overseas exams must have 70% and in entry, the test is 30%.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Inter Marks<\/span> 70%<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Entry Test Marks<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a030%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ECAT test preparation institutions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some institutes prepared the ECAT test in Lahore.
