What is a token number, and how to get it?

The token number is important. It would help if you had this number to generate your admit card and entrance permit to the examination center. So, getting this token number is essential. This token number proves that you have paid the 1800 PKR fee for the test.

Before doing any of this, you must go to the UET admission portal and sign up for this test. You will able to generate a challan form or challan number. This challan number will be useful in the following procedure.

You can get this token number in the following ways.

  1. From January 8th, 2024, to February 29, 2024, the token numbers may be obtained by purchasing Entry Test Tokens in the shape of scratch cards at selected HBL banks for Rs 1800/-.
  2. The token number may be obtained online by paying an online challan for Rs 1800/- using HBL Konnect or HBL net banking.

For online banking, you can use the HBL app in the following way

  • Login to your CONNECT app
  • Go to the lifestyle section
  • Select the school fee option
  • Select UET as your school and enter the challan number
  • Now, pay the fee
  • You can use this challan number as the token number.

If you use online banking instead of this app, then you can go on about it in the following way.

  • Login to your HBL app
  • Select more and then select Education
  • Now, select UET
  • Enter the challan number
  • Pay the fee

What is an Admit card?

Admit card is your roll number slip. It contains your picture and exam details, such as your roll number, exam center, exam time, and exam date. Without it, you cannot take the exam no matter what.

You can print your Admit card in the following way

  • Visit admission.uet.edu.pk
  • Select the Generate Admit card option
  • Log in using your token number
  • Enter all your credentials asked on the portal, upload the picture and choose your test center.
  • The Admit card is now generated. Print it and bring it on the test date.

Essential things to know about the test

You have to know the following important things for the test day

  • You must bring your admit card. Otherwise, you will NOT be allowed entry under ANY circumstances.
  • Candidate must bring a photo ID.
  • This photo ID can be his or her CNIC, Matric certificates, Domicile that contains your photo, or a passport.

Paper pattern

Questions are asked from your intermediate-level books. Students will get 100 minutes or 1 hour and 40 minutes to attempt this test. There will be negative markings, so keep that in mind. Each correct answer will get you 4 marks, and each wrong answer will cost you one mark (-1). 10 Questions will be asked in English, while 90 will be equally divided among other subjects. You have to score 33% marks to pass this test.
