Can I join AFNS after Matric?

  • Applicants must be unmarried, separated, widowed, or divorced and free of debt. While trained nurses might be married or unmarried, their marital status is not a problem.
  • Untrained candidates might be between the ages of 17 and 25, whilst trained nurses must be between the ages of 18 and 28.
  • A Pakistani nationality is required of the student. Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir residents are also eligible to participate. To join the Pakistan Army, a person with dual nationality must relinquish their other citizenship.
  • Candidates must be at least 5 feet tall.
  • The body mass index must be used to calculate the weight.
  • Qualification: A minimum of 55% in Matric with Science is required. A minimum of 50% in FSC Pre-Medical is required.

Ineligibilities

  • Candidates who have been denied twice by the General Headquarters are ineligible to apply for Armed Forces Nursing Services in the Pakistan Army (AFNS).
  • Candidates who have been medically found unfit by the Appeal Medical Board are not eligible to join the Pakistan Army.
  • The candidate has a history of being involved in offensive, unofficial, or illegal court activity.
  • Candidates who have resigned or withdrawn from any Armed Forces, as well as those who have been pronounced weak or unsuitable, are ineligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have been fired from a government position are unable to join the Pakistan Army.
  • Candidates who have already registered with PNC and are new to the company are not eligible to apply.

How to apply for AFNS after Matric?

On the 17th of August, AFNS online Registration opened. The deadline for registering is September 16. Interested candidates can register on the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. As a result, the individual’s e-mail address will be emailed with the test date and time. On the computerized roll number slip, applicants will report the date and time of the preliminary test.

You can also apply online if you do not have an internet connection. You must go to the nearest recruitment center (RC) or army selection center (AS) for this reason. Is the AFNS uniform the same as the uniform used by Lady Officers?
